Bottle Shape Cooling Tower

Square Type Cooling Tower
This type of cooling tower is using principle of counter flow current between air stream and water which is same as induced draft counterflow cooling tower (Bottle Type). The difference is water is distributed.
Crossflow Cooling Tower
Hot water is delivered from outside to hot water basin located two sides on the top of the tower. Then it will be distributed over pvc fillers which are installed underneath the basins. Cool air is sucked by fan on top.
Forced Draft Cooling Tower
Forced Draught Cooling Tower: In this type of cooling tower, fan is used to circulate the air. When power plant runs on peak load, it requires a very high rate of cooling water. To rotate fan, it uses motor with speed around 1000 rpm.
Wooden Cooling Tower
The tower design incorporates a RCC basin with number of flower type target nozzles in it and is located at the tower top. The water, by gravity, is dispersed over the fill/splash media uniformly and water is allowed to pass vertically down along these wooden Splash bar.
